A charismatic thief always has to be cool, even if he’s one of the lesser villains in Shigaraki’s group. Mr. Compress is the great-great-grandson of a legendary thief who was on par with All For One and Destro in terms of sheer shame, which is one of the reasons he’s a villain in the first place.

Mr. Compress’ Quirk is also great to watch, as something as simple as turning someone or part of someone into marble is surprisingly effective. He may be a villain, but it’s hard to hate this flashy showman.

9) Hitoshi Shinso

Hitoshi Shinso has a quirk that would be very easy to use for evil purposes, but he only uses it to be a hero, which is admirable. He’s one of the few non-1-A or 1-B students to get celebrity screen time My hero academyand he’s made quite the impression on the fan base with each of his performances.

He had a memorable fight against Deku at the sports festival and later trained with the popular Aizawa to hone his skills. Hitoshi later appeared in the Joint Training Arc, defeating Class 1-B in one fight before losing to Deku in another.

Luckily, he proved himself again playing a pivotal role in the Final War Arc thanks to his highly versatile Quirk that allowed him to lure All For One out for the final battle series.

8) Izuku Midoriya

The main protagonist will inevitably experience many cool moments My hero academy. However, there are some aspects of his character that don’t make him as interesting as many of the upcoming characters when it comes to the “cool factor.” After all, he cried a lot in the beginning and is a bit of a goodie-two-shoes.

However, he has several quirks and is blatantly underwhelming compared to the rest of the cast. One would be hard pressed not to find this quite remarkable given that he gets far more screentime than the average character on this series.

7) Kyoka-Jiro

So much for the female characters My hero academy come on, Jiro must be the coolest one out there. Her overall aesthetic is pretty neat, and she actually gets some really amazing moments on the show. The song Hero Too is a well-known example of this, but a more recent example from the manga would be her fight against All For One.

She obviously didn’t win and losing an ear jack was brutal, but she survived anyway. This is way more impressive compared to what many other characters did in the last arc.

6) Fumikage Tokoyami

His crow head is pretty weird as it has nothing to do with his quirk, but Fumikage is still one of the coolest My hero academy Characters. He exhibits the usual nervous demeanor that anime fans tend to love, like a fascination with darkness and a rather calm demeanor.

After that, he usually has good fights against various enemies and also fought alongside Jiro against All For One in the Final War Arc, where he managed to destroy the main antagonist’s mask.

5) Falcons

Hawks has been very popular in the past My hero academy fandom, and it’s easy to see why. If one had to think of a cool character, Hawks would be one of the first names that springs to mind. He is carefree, smart and sometimes acts like a joker.

He played villains like Re-Destro like a fiddle, acting as a double agent on the Pro Heroes side, which is pretty unique as far as character roles go My hero academy. Fittingly, the next character on this list has a strong connection to Hawks.

4) Dabi

A villain with a valid motive is one thing, but having an extremely powerful Quirk alongside an amazing design is quite another. Even the most casual person who didn’t watch much from My Hero Academia that Dabi is one of the cooler characters just because of his design.

Its storyline featuring Shoto Todoroki and Endeavor is arguably the best part of the Final War arc and is sometimes considered by fans to be the series’ highlight. As far as villains go, he’s a lot more inherently interesting than someone like All For One, who’s pretty one-dimensional, or someone like Shigaraki, whose main storyline isn’t as compelling as Dabi’s troubles with his family.

3) All power

When it comes to the best characters, All Might certainly lays claim to being number one. However, being the best is not necessarily the same as being the coolest. He was the number one hero in My hero academy for a long time, and his fight against All For One was the stuff of legends.

However, after this legendary fight, he’s past his prime and has to compete with several other insanely popular characters for the title of coolest My hero academy Character.

It wouldn’t be wrong to rank him higher, but the following two characters tend to be more liked for a number of reasons.

2) Shoto Todoroki

A lame pun could be made on cool characters, but it’s better to just say that Shoto Todoroki was consistently one of the most featured characters in Class 1-A. He’s also been hugely popular in all of the official popularity polls, so there’s clearly something about him that resonates My hero academy fans.

It helps that he has a lot of lore about him compared to the average character. Additionally, fire and ice powers are traditionally considered great powers to have in any anime. Add in a laid back personality as he’s one of the stronger students in the series and it’s clear why he stands out positively compared to his contemporaries.

In general, rival characters in shōnen anime are much cooler than the main protagonist. It’s no different in My hero academywhere Bakugo is usually portrayed as bolder and tougher than Deku at the beginning of the series.

Even as Deku became too powerful, Bakugo still retained a significant edge over him in terms of overall popularity. Just for reference, the only time Bakugo hasn’t been number one in an official Japanese popularity poll was in the first.

He has a popular design and also possesses an explosive ability that blends phenomenally with his backstory and overall plot relevance.
