Tatum now leads the team with the best record in the NBA. All four of those players could easily usurp Doncic for the MVP award.

Outside of the clear top 5 in the NBA MVP odds list, there are several players who stand a chance of winning at longer odds. Joel Embiid has been in the MVP race every time for the past few years, while players like Donovan Mitchell and Ja Morant have been the engines behind some of the most underrated teams in the NBA.
There are two questions worth asking when competing with a candidate over +1000 to gain MVP. The first is whether their team will win enough games to improve their NBA MVP ratings over the course of the season. The second question is whether their statistical results are good enough to help them override the favorites mentioned above.

There are some interesting longshot bets for the NBA MVP award, especially on the perimeter. Devin Booker has a good chance of winning as he was absent from the pitch due to injury.
