25 Best Target Deal Days Sales 2022: The Best Deals We Found

There is no space like Target. While online shopping doesn’t induce the same frenzy as getting lost in Bullseye’s Playground, the Target Deal Days sale still offers an exciting excuse to browse the virtual aisles. (As if either of us ever needed another excuse to make a quick finish.)

The sale runs through July 13, and while it’s a direct competitor to Amazon Prime Day, the vast majority of these deals don’t require a membership to shop. Some of the offers are only available to Target Circle members, but the program is free to join—and worth participating if you shop at Target even semi-annually.

The WIRED Gear team tests products throughout the year and has hand-sorted through hundreds of thousands of deals to make this selection. Crossed out products are sold out or no longer discounted. Our Amazon Prime Day coverage page has the latest stories and our Prime Day shopping tips will help you avoid bad deals. You can get one too 1-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off) here.

Updated July 13, 2022: We’ve updated prices and links throughout, and added a robotic vacuum offer.

Pixel Buds A Series.

You might be on the phone, watching Will Byers cry over his crush, or listening to Selena sing bidi bidi bom bom — it doesn’t matter if you have the Google Pixel Buds A-Series. These are our favorite earbuds for most people with their ergonomic design, balanced sound, and IPX4 water resistance.

Gloomhaven is one of the most popular – and most expensive – tabletop games out there. Lion’s jaws can be played as a standalone game or as an expansion to the original. It is suitable for two or more players aged 14 and over.

A plethora of Lego sets are on sale, from classic $10 brick kits to Minecraft– thematic models. The inclusive Duplo and Friends lineups are also included in this offer. The quality of the offer depends on which set you’re looking at, but the discounts are generally good, especially for parents looking to keep their kids entertained this summer.

Address only circle members

This workbook is a great option for prospective kindergarteners, and the clip coupon brings it down to just $3 for Target Circle members. If applicable, select free in-store pickup to skip shipping costs. Be sure to check out these school supplies deals for extra student savings.

With this offer, there are almost 50,000 titles to choose from, including classics for children and thrillers for adults. The discount is automatically displayed during the checkout process.

Household and outdoor offerings

Hoover Power Dash.

This isn’t an unusual deal on our budget carpet cleaner, so there’s no need to rush to add it to your shopping cart. But if you’re already in the market, we think you’ll like this one for small spots (if you’ve got a big old house that needs a serious deep clean, maybe opt for something bigger). It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, and the trigger for dispensing the solution is right on the handle. There are also separate tanks for clean and dirty water that can be removed for rinsing. This price will be adjusted on Amazon.

The larger Hoover SmartWash, which we like, is also discounted at Target, although it’s currently cheaper on Amazon.

Although this particular model isn’t a pick in our guide, WIRED Senior Associate Editor Adrienne So says it’s high-end. It maps your home with sound waves, automatically raises the mop when it detects a carpet, and uses multi-directional brushes to better pick up dirt. If you want it, it’s best to buy it on sale rather than spending close to $700. You can also find it on Amazon and Walmart for this price.

There are a lot of clothes and shoes on sale. The selection includes options for men, women and children. It’s not just limited to shirts and pants – you can get deals on shoes and swimsuits too. Prices are displayed on the product page.

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus.

While it’s not difficult to find deals on stand mixers during the shopping holidays, this model does come in some unique and pretty colors. KitchenAid mixers are popular for good reason. They are great for baking as well as cooking in general. While this discount is good, if you’re determined to get the lowest possible price (maybe $200-$250), it’s best to wait until Black Friday to buy these.

Nothing says college like one of these bad boys. These types of pillows are never real cozy, but they come in handy for homework, bedtime reading, and movie nights. This one has a fluffy cover for extra softness.

These types of clothes racks have become popular online in recent years. They’re great for small apartments or bedrooms, especially if you’re short on storage space. This shelf has shelves on the side for storing shoes or storage bins – a feature hard to find in other similarly priced versions. Consider the cool Gen Z dots as an added bonus.

Health and beauty offers

Theragun Elite

There are plenty of cheaper massage guns you can buy (and we like a few of them), but the Pro is the best of Theragun’s line. Theraguns (made by Therabody) are something like the Kleenex of the world of percussive devices. It’s the quietest of the brand’s machines and comes with five attachments to soften different muscles.

The Mini is also discounted at $160 ($40 off) if you really want a Theragun but want to spend as little as possible. However, there are better options than the Mini. The triangular designs of the other Theraguns make them much more ergonomic. The Theragun Prime, which we didn’t test, retails for $250 ($50 off).

We think most people would be happy with the Theragun Elite, including athletes, but this Pro is the beast of the lineup, putting out 60 pounds of power while the Elite uses 40 pounds. It also has a rotating arm, making it even easier to get the attachments in the right place. If you’ve got the money to spend, you’ll like it, but $500 is a steep selling price.

Theragun Wave family

You can still enjoy some of Therabody’s technologies without having to spend hundreds. This wave roller combines traditional foam rolling with the vibrations of a massage. It won’t get into knots as efficiently, but you can pair it with a cheaper massage gun if you need to.

Smart Home Offers

Nest audio

The Google Nest Audio has surprisingly good sound quality for a smart speaker. We’re happy to connect two of these together for even better audio quality, and with this sale, it’s easy to justify. The Nest Mini smart speaker is also available for $30 ($20 off), so you can get something with a smaller profile or just expand your Nest ecosystem.

A smart display is incredibly versatile, serving as a video player, a means of communicating with others, or a glorified digital framework, if that’s your thing. The Nest Hub Max does all of these things really well, and while these are often on sale, we’d only recommend buying it when it’s on sale. If video chat isn’t your thing, the Nest Hub (2nd gen) smart display is on sale for $55 ($45 off) — that’s $111 off the Max for a smart display that’s still great!

Google households looking to up their security game look no further: the Nest Cam is your best option. It works with Google Assistant, offers 1080p with HDR and night vision, and even has a good, clear speaker and microphone. For a wired indoor option, the Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) is $79 ($21 off).

With the dog days of summer come bleak, sometimes crippling temperatures. The Nest Thermostat can help keep your home cooler (and save a little money in the process) by learning your preferred settings and adjusting accordingly. In addition, with intelligent temperature adjustments, you are helping to gradually save the planet through your reduced energy consumption.

Nest doorbell

Ding dong the nest (doorbell) is great! Not really. This would probably be our best video doorbell cam if it weren’t so expensive, so this is a great opportunity to get something better for a lot less. This is the lowest price ever and is a third below the usual price.

Not all TVs are smart, but luckily they don’t have to wish for a brain like the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. You can just connect a Chromecast with Google TV and voila! With the supplied remote control, you have all the advantages of a smart TV (Youtube, Netflix and other apps) directly at your disposal.

Smartphone Deals

Google Pixel 6 Pro

Photo: Google

The Google Pixel 6 Pro got a rare WIRED rating of 9/10 – quite a big deal here. We absolutely loved the camera quality with its Real Tone feature, which captures different skin tones incredibly well. It also has a long-lasting battery, a smooth OLED screen, and an amazingly fast refresh rate. If you don’t need all the features of the Pro, you can opt for the Google Pixel 6 (256GB) Android smartphone, which is available for $599 ($100 off).
