Offers on Robovacs with self-draining tanks

Roborock Q5+

Manually emptying a vacuum cleaner can create new messes that spoil the point. The Roborock Q5+ empties itself when docked, so you only have to worry about clearing out the bin every now and then – a real game changer. Settings are highly customizable, allowing you to set emptying frequency and customize up to four maps while navigating and cleaning your home well.

To be honest, we’re kind of obsessed with how good the Roomba i7+ is. It has incredible navigation and suction power, and the tank has sensors so it empties when it’s full. We’re most impressed with the Genius feature, which takes customization to the max by learning your schedules and preferences so you don’t have to program it manually.

Samsung Jetbot AI+

“I believe our children are the future,” your parents’ old vacuum cleaner would probably say to the Samsung Jet Bot AI+ if it could. Aside from looking like a miniature spaceship, the AI+ really does have some of the best navigation features we’ve seen. It’s also relatively quiet and gets the job done fairly quickly. If you can overcome the size of both the vacuum (5 inches tall) and the docking bin (21 inches tall), it’s a great vacuum at this price point. For a slimmer profile, check out the Samsung Jet Bot+, also on sale for $399 ($400 off).

You know when you want to tell your kids/your partner/roommate to do something around the house? You can use all that energy to tell Google Assistant or Alexa to turn on your Roomba i4+ vacuum. This model doesn’t perform as well as our other high-end favorites, but it does a pretty good job of navigating, cleaning, and emptying its bin.

Budget Robot Vacuum Cleaner Deals

Yeedi K650

The Yeedi K650 was already a pretty good bang for your buck, but at $100 it’s an absolute steal. You get 100+ minutes of battery life as it navigates your home. If you’ve never had a robot vacuum, this is a great place to start. You can also use the extra money saved to invest in the compatible dump station (sorry, not on sale).

We like the iRobot Roomba 600 series, especially when they’re on sale. The Roomba 692 has a self-charging battery that lasts 90 minutes, it works with Google Assistant and Alexa and has an intuitive app that allows you to program the vacuum cleaner’s actions. Like most iRobot vacuums, it’s powerful.

These vacuum cleaners can even mop

Ecovac’s Deebot X1 Omni

The Deebot X1 Omni is a behemoth with its chunky base and thick vacuum, but it mops surprisingly well. WIRED editor Adrienne So is usually skeptical about robotic vacuum/mop combos, but this has changed the game for her. Not only does it mop well and scrub sticky stains off floors, but it also dries the mop at the base, preventing mold and mildew from forming – a thoughtful feature that makes this feature even better.

The Roborock S7 is too expensive to buy when it’s not on sale considering it doesn’t have a self-draining tank. Lucky for you it’s on sale, and it also has a mop. The S7 works with the Roborock interface, which we already loved on the Q5+, allowing you to take advantage of the customization features and use voice assistants (Alexa, Google, Siri) to control the vacuum cleaner. The coolest part is the carpet recognition, meaning the S7 will identify the type of surface it’s on so it can mop hardwoods and vacuum carpets – not the other way around – all in one cleaning session.
