“A cringe-making horror story” – Piers Morgan refers to Arteta as a “bossier Pep-lite rookie headmaster” and slams Arsenal’s Amazon documentary

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan was embarrassed by the Gunners’ ‘All or Nothing’ documentary and feared it could turn into a ‘creepy horror story’.

Produced by Amazon, All or Nothing: Arsenal is a newly released documentary series filmed throughout the 2021-22 season. It chronicled the club’s training sessions, chats in the dressing room, the club’s biggest wins and embarrassing defeats and gave fans a glimpse under the hood of the North London team.

Morgan, who has always had a soft spot for the Gunners, isn’t looking forward to watching the documentary as he was severely discouraged by the trailers.

When the Sun asked Morgan to name the “most embarrassing moment,” he promptly turned to the “All or Nothing” documentary and said:

“Judging by the trailers, every second of Amazon’s upcoming All or Nothing series on Arsenal is going to be a chilling horror story.”

The English broadcaster finds that Mikel Arteta looks like a cheap imitation of Pep Guardiola in the docuseries. But he’s excited to learn more about the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saga. The Gabon forward was terminated by mutual agreement and joined Barcelona in January.

He added:

“Arteta comes across as an even weirder, bossy pep-lite rookie headmaster than I feared, and knowing how badly the season is ending I’d honestly rather watch someone hammer rusty nails into my flesh, than to experience it all again.

“But I hope we finally see what really happened to Aubameyang, which could possibly justify Arteta handing him off to Barcelona (and keeping the goal-allergic Alexandre Lacazette, who hasn’t scored in open play in La Liga since mid-December ). Spoiler alert: that won’t justify it.”

All or nothing: Arsenal could lead fans through a heartbreaking final

All or Nothing: Arsenal, the first three episodes of which were released on August 4, filmed all the biggest moments associated with the club in the 2021/22 season. The documentary’s ending could put fans through the pain of missing out on a top 4 finish in the most painful way possible.

Finishing fourth, the north Londoners were firmly in the driver’s seat going into the last three games of the season. However, back-to-back defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United allowed Spurs to move forward and finish fourth.

It was a painful moment for the Gooners around the world, and the documentary could make them relive it when the final episodes air later in August.
