A gray Jaguar and BMW motorcycle crashed on the B1222 near York
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage and information about the accident which occurred at around 3.13pm on Saturday (20 May) on the B1222 between Cawood and Stillingfleet.
A police spokesman said a gray Jaguar and a BMW motorcycle were involved in the accident.
The car was heading towards Stillingfleet and the driver was going in the opposite direction.
After the accident, the driver of the car, a passenger and the motorcyclist were all taken to the hospital, the spokesman said.
The section of road was closed for two hours while officers investigated the scene of the accident and cleared the road.
Officials are now asking anyone who witnessed the accident, or anyone who remembers seeing the vehicles before the collision, to come forward as soon as possible to help the investigation.
Officials are particularly appealing to anyone who may have dashcam footage of or around the incident.
