Even residents of Martha’s Vineyard admit that President Joe Biden is responsible for the influx of asylum seekers, not Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Supporting the message behind DeSantis’ move to fly migrants to their community, two residents of the resort community spoke to Fox News’ Sara Carter this week.
The views of Vineyard residents aired Monday’s Hannity.
Area resident Jim Joyce compared the community’s experience of fifty migrants to that of Texas — where hundreds or even thousands of migrants infiltrate the international border with Mexico every day.

“How do you think people in Texas feel that thousands of them come in a day and we had a little taste of it at 50?”
“[I] think what he [DeSantis] did was a … great statement for the country to get the conversation out there.”
Another Vineyard resident named Elizabeth Bostrom praised DeSantis and harshly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’ performance as a federal “border zzarin.”
“It’s really a joke and everyone knows it,” Bostrom said of Harris’ work performance.

It’s not easy to find Conservatives or Republicans on Martha’s Vineyard.
According to The Vineyard Gazette, every city on the island voted decisively for Biden in the 2020 election.
However, at least a few residents seem to be realizing that Biden’s refusal to enforce federal immigration laws and deport illegal immigrants is the problem — not DeSantis’ attempt to give limousine liberals a taste of their own medicine.
After Vineyard residents arranged a few photo ops with the asylum seekers, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker arranged for the state’s National Guard to escort the migrants off the island to a military base in Cape Cod.
“Te amo!” They yelled while hauling the illegal immigrants away from Martha’s Vineyard within 44 hours.

Locals claimed that the area does not have the “services” to house the migrants on the island long-term.

Law enforcement on the southern border has processed more migrants than any other year in American history, according to the Center for Immigration Studies.
The total number of encounters with migrants for FY2022 exceeded two million in August, with the month of September still to be counted.
