The creator of System Shock and Deus Ex seems to be working on a new multiplayer simulation called Argos: Riders on the Storm. The developer behind this upcoming game, OtherSide Entertainment, was brought to life in Boston, Massachusetts by famed Looking Glass Studios co-founder Paul Neurath. Spector joined the company many years later when OtherSide opened a second studio in Austin, Texas.

“From the creative mind of Warren Spector to the new game set in a strange but interesting world,” was recently revealed on The OtherSide website. If Warrens works earlier in the sim realm, the world can help players decide how to interact with a deeply simulated environment.

Argos: The Rider on the Storm will be a multiplayer experience. Of course, this represents an incredibly unusual approach to the immersive sim genre. However, be aware that your decision will have ramifications both large and small, and will affect your experience. You can join friends to weave a unique story, different from other players.
However, potential players can show patience when it comes to specific details on issues. OtherSide now has little to share but a logo. The company concludes that you should be wary of this space more than you’re willing to discuss.
While an official announcement probably won’t take weeks, some fans can glean more information from a recent interview by IGN. “I’m a relentless advocate of immersive Sims. I’ve been thinking for years what should be the next step in VR sims? I think I figured it out, said Spector. It’s time for me to go with multiple players. The developer added that people who want innovative and unique solutions and a vision of life are crazy. The team achieved more than I wanted.
