Accident at work when Rachel Reeves flies business class and then withholds the evidence

Hadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves was so excited about her trip to New York yesterday to meet business leaders that she tweeted a clip of her British Airways ticket.
What a mistake that was. It had her seat number on it, indicating she had chosen the business class section of the plane. Business class tickets from London to New York usually start at around £2,000 and can go up significantly with last minute bookings.
Things took a strange turn. The tweet with the photo showing Reeves’ seat number was hastily deleted and replaced with an almost identical tweet with the photo edited. The seat number was fuzzy.
Before and after
/ Rachel Reeves / TWITTERSome observant Twitter users noticed the change. Soon after, the new tweet vanished too, leaving little trace of Reeves’ happiness in the Big Apple.
How mysterious. Does she want to keep her reputation for frugality?
