Adam Thomas: Strictly Come Dancing brought confidence

“I found a little bit more confidence in myself, I felt like I struggled with that before… which is probably the best thing about this show for me.
“I doubted myself quite a bit going into this show. I never really thought about how much I doubted myself.
“Just because I’ve never done it before doesn’t mean I can’t do it, and I just feel like I’ve just found an inner confidence.”
Thomas, who appeared on the ITV series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 and later co-hosted the spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp. He said he “constantly” thought he would be lit by Strictly.

“I always thought the worst, always thought I couldn’t do it.”
He said: “I feel like in everything I’ve done so far, I’ve always thought of the worst, always thought that I can’t do this, or that it’ll never work out, or that I’ll never be good enough .
“But it turns out I’m good enough and I should believe in myself a little bit more than I have and I don’t say it often but I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved so far. “this show.”
Thomas said he “never really lacked confidence” in the acting world, but did when it came to “leaving your comfort zone.”
