And one of the best ways for local businesses to do this is by attending the York Press Business Awards.
Sand Hutton’s Fera Science says that attending the 2022 Awards and winning both the Business Innovation and Business of the Year categories had a “significant” impact on the company’s presence and success in the region.
A spokesman said: “By participating in these awards, companies can demonstrate their unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and success, thereby attracting new customers, investors and potential business partners.”
“These esteemed awards have not only increased our brand visibility, but also positioned Fera Science as an industry leader. The recognition we have received has inspired a sense of trust and confidence from our valued customers and stakeholders.
“Furthermore, the awards have provided us with a valuable platform to share our remarkable track record. By showcasing our accomplishments, we have inspired other businesses and fostered a culture of innovation and excellence in the local community.”
Last year’s runners-up included charity York Against Cancer, which said: “As a local charity, we celebrated our 35th anniversary in 2022, so it was very special for us to gain additional exposure through the awards.”
