After a plane crash in Mexico, the gender reveal party ends with a fatal outcome

A gender reveal party in Mexico turned fatal when a plane crashed during a stunt.
The pilot was killed in the crash on Sunday in San Pedro.

In a video shared on social media, a plane can be seen flying low in the distance, approaching the happy couple in front of a sign reading “Oh Baby” decorated with colorful balloons.
At the exact moment the plane released red powder to symbolize a little girl, the video shows the left wing detaching from the plane and then spinning uncontrollably in the air. The video pans back to the couple embracing and a cheering crowd as confetti is sprayed.

The pilot was found near the wreckage and treated by paramedics at the scene. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. CNN reported.
No other injuries were reported from the accident.
Gender reveal parties have become a popular way for couples to reveal news about a child’s gender in recent years.

But some families went along went overboard with dangerous methods to celebrate the news.
In March 2021, a plane crashed into the water in Cancun, Mexico, during a gender reveal party, killing the pilot and co-pilot.
In June of that year, a couple in Fort McMurray, Alta., started a wildfire after firing an exploding target.
And in August 2021, a man in New Hampshire pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct after 80 pounds of explosives were detonated, shaking nearby homes.
