Zynex, Coherus BioSciences, Universal Insurance Holdings — Shares of Coherus, Zynex and Universal Insurance continued to fall News from the S&P 500 Dow Jones indices suggests that the stocks would move within the smallcap indices. Coherus is exiting the Midcap 400 index and moving to the Midcap 600 index, while Universal Insurance is exiting the Midcap 600 index altogether. Zynex fell nearly 6% after news that it was leaving the small-cap 600 index.
American Express — Shares of the credit card giant rose 0.5% after RBC upgraded the sector to outperform on Tuesday.
Airbnb – Shares of the vacation rental company subsequently rose more than 4% S&P Dow Jones Indices’ announcement on Friday that Airbnb will be added to the S&P 500 later this month. The S&P 500 is largely tracked by major index funds, which could put buying pressure on Airbnb stock in the coming weeks.
NextGen Healthcare – The healthcare stock subsequently rose by more than 11% Bloomberg reported Monday that the company was in late-stage talks with potential buyer Thomas Bravo.
oracle – The software stock rose 1.5% in premarket trading after Barclays upgraded the stock to overweight from equal weight. The company said the company’s cloud business will see tailwinds from artificial intelligence.
Brady Corporation – Shares rose nearly 11% after the company reported quarterly results. Brady reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.04, while analysts surveyed by FactSet forecast a profit of 93 cents.
Warner Bros. Discovery – Shares fell 1.2% after the company warned that strikes by writers and actors could negatively impact cash flow by $300 million to $500 million.
