He is back.
If you don’t know Alex Williams, he had a fucking debut with in 2017 Better than myself but it seems like Big Machine didn’t know what to do with him as there wasn’t much traction after that.
But now he’s taking the independent route and preparing to release his next studio album. Make peace, scheduled for October 21st.
With that in mind, the rising star released a new kickass single entitled ‘No Reservations’.
“I wrote this song a few years ago with my friend and amazing singer-songwriter Mando Saenz.
Basically a song about how to maneuver through all the troubles and trials that come with doing this kind of work on the road, while embracing the good with the bad and discovering the sheer joy that comes from making a living with music can earn.”
The song is all about a musician practically roaming the streets, hopping from motel to hotel and playing bar after bar, hoping that one day he’ll end up in the right place at the right time and make it big.
It’s a high-energy boot-stomp about looking at a sticky situation with the best possible attitude, and you can unleash it on anything from driving with the windows down to cranking up the speaker with the lads on a Friday night.
The single is the first look at Williams’ forthcoming sophomore album lead peace Album which he says is a personal album about the trials and tribulations of hitting rock bottom and fighting your way back to the top.
Gitty up, that should be a good one.
