All 19-inch tall Venom statue from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Unfortunately, dear readers, I have terrible news. Even disturbing. We were lied to about the size Marvel’s Spider-Man 2‘s Collector’s Edition’s Venom. Despite Sony’s offer to treat us to a 19-inch Venom, according to an in-depth investigation conducted by io9 today, Venom is actually just under 14 inches tall – more like twelve inches if you ignore the base.

Heck, the statue itself measures barely 18.5 inches, from the bottom to the top of Peter Parker’s fingertip. The illusion! It’s a good job Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a pretty decent video game, otherwise it would just be an insult.
