The remodeling of the Super Target at 4313 Ambassador Caffery Parkway is nearing completion. It’s all part of the nationwide transformation of 150 stores. Target calls the revamp a “glow-up” as the updates are subtle but noticeable.
Most of the work has been completed, the finishing touches will follow after the holidays.
The enhanced shopping experience begins as soon as you enter the parking lot. The entire shop window shines in a new look.
The upgrade includes modern lighting and fixtures, redesigned order-taking and drive-up areas, touchless bathroom amenities, and more space between checkouts. The dressing rooms have also been completely redesigned for a more upscale look.
Illuminated department signs
New attractive checkout area
New checkout counter (allows more space between checkout lines)
New self-checkout lanes
New optical department
Ulta Beauty Coming Soon, as announced by Developing Lafayette in May, is now open in stores.
The “glow-up” also includes an Apple area in electronics that still needs a few more touches to complete.
One of the non-visual improvements is audible. Super Target has been playing happy music throughout the store for over a week. You may not know why you “feel good” from the first moment, but it’s more than likely the upbeat music overhead.
Since the music was installed, buyers seem happier now. – Employees in the store
