The username Mysticat was decided to transform Minecraft into a whole new form. The enthusiast literally created a 2D copy of the popular sandbox, changing the perspective of objects and terrain blocks. Despite this, he did not use any third parties to modify it.
The user had to create a separate world that would look like a normal two-dimensional game. To do this, he created a separate plug-in for a camera that fixes the position in the right direction. Finally, the author had to improve some textures so that they could match 2D. In the video above we demonstrate the whole process of creating two-dimensional worlds.
Not resorting to modifications, Mysticat decided to change the well-known Minecraft in a completely different way. The sandbox has a 2D version, but its main functionality doesn’t even catch the players’ eyes. This new perspective gives a completely different view of the game.
