Arsenal secure new Marcelo Flores contract to stave off European interest

rsenal have secured the future of teenage star Marcelo Flores by extending his contract by two years.
Flores’ contract was due to expire this summer, which had sparked interest from clubs across Europe.
However, there was an option in the 19-year-old’s contract to extend it until 2025 and Arsenal have triggered that clause.
The Gunners exercised a similar option in Charlie Patino’s contract earlier this season, with the 19-year-old being another highly rated youngster at the club.
