Ascension Hero Lenehan returns to Boro while Clapham and Fish stay with Selby
Lenehan first joined Boro in 2013, winning the Northern Counties East League Cup at Valley Parade in his first season at the club.
The no-nonsense centre-back was also an integral part of the club’s NCEL Division 1 title-winning team in 2018.
Lenehan made 268 appearances for the Manse Lane side before making a professional move to Manchester ahead of the 2021/22 season, with the club admitting they “can’t wait” to welcome him back.

Knaresborough aren’t the only North Yorkshire side to have started confirming players for the upcoming season. In-demand attacking couple Harry Clapham and Kyle Fish have entrusted their future to Selby Town.
Of the pair, chief executive Steve McGarrity told the club’s media team: “I am extremely pleased that Kyle has confirmed his services to Selby ahead of the new season.”
“Kyle can turn a game and we need players who can do that on the day. Kyle is one of those players.
“He’ll be key to backing up the first two and stealing a few [goals] oneself.
“Harry, along with several other players, has so much potential to take this club to where we want to be,” he continued.
“Like last season, Harry has been on my wish list from day one.
“Other clubs have berated him but he has re-signed this season and is the gaffer [Ryan Cooper] managed well to make it across the finish line early.
“If we keep him fit he has the potential to score goals and with his pace he will be a handful this season too.
“This is another piece of the puzzle that is finally fitting.”
