Ashley Short was missing and found safe at home in Scarborough

Police in Scarborough today appealed for urgent help in finding Ashley Short, who went missing from his home in the town.

Ashley, 36, did not come to work this morning and officers were very concerned for his welfare.

He was last approached by a family member at around 5am this morning. He is believed to be in Scarborough.

He is described as white, slim, 1.70 meters tall, clean-shaven and with short brown hair.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police searched for him to ensure he was OK.

But police have now said Ashley was found safe and well.
