Hearts will face Hajduk Split or PAOK if they beat Rosenborg, while Derry City will face Viktoria Plzen or Gzira United if they beat Tobol Kostanay.
Rangers face PSV Eindhoven or Sturm Graz if they advance to the Champions League play-offs.
The Ibrox side were seeded in the draw but first have to beat Swiss side Servette, who face Ibrox in the first leg of the third qualifying round on Wednesday.
The Gers beat PSV 3-2 on aggregate in the same stage last year to reach the group stage. Antonio Colak secured the winner when he scored the only goal in the second leg in the Netherlands.
