Badminton coach charged with sexual assault in Markham

A Markham badminton coach faces charges after police receive a sexual assault report.

York Regional Police said officers began investigating allegations by a young person who reported sexual assault earlier this month.

On May 12, police arrested a suspect and he was held on bail for a hearing.

Oscar Ho Yin Yin Yuen, 29, faces two counts of sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

Officers are urging anyone with information to call 1-866-876-5423 ext. 7071.
