Barry Keoghan enters Jacob Elordi’s world in the seductive ‘Saltburn’ trailer

With its promise of lavish parties and lustful romances, Emerald is Fennell’s Salt burn promises to lure you into a world of hedonistic excess – a world from which there may be no escape.
With her second feature film, the author and director of Promising young woman — who also played Midge Barbie – deals with class struggle and queer obsession. Fennell introduces us to the Oxford outcast Oliver (The Banshees of Inisherinis Barry Keoghan) and the very hot, very rich Felix (Priscillais Jacob Elordi), the object of his infatuation.
When Oliver is reluctant to go home in the summer, Felix invites him to his family estate in Saltburn, which looks more like a magnificent castle than a comfortable home. There, Oliver finds himself in a completely alien environment where families dress in evening wear for dinner, throw lavish parties on a whim, and throw away friends like candy wrappers. But is Oliver as clueless as he seems, or is there something deeper behind his presence in Saltburn?
Also starring Rosamund Pike, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, Richard E. Grant and Carrie Mulligan. Salt burn is a devilish dish of a film that happens to contain many of the best one-liners of the year (most of them from Pike).

Salt burn opens in limited theaters on November 17th, then in major theaters on November 24th.
