PlatinumGames Director Hideki Kamiya appears to have shut down his Twitter account amid a growing controversy over Hellena Taylor’s pay rate. The account was flagged on October 15 for suspicious activity that would most likely ban a large number of people in response to the ongoing backlash, which went to Taylor calling for the upcoming Bayonetta 3 to be boycotted. The unequivocal words unavailable are now on the profile page, suggesting that Kamiya either deleted or deactivated the account.

The voice actress, who played Bayonetta in the first two films of the same name, recently called for a boycott of Bayonetta – due to the fact that her pay for the work involved is less than a handout, and revealed that she has received an offer to reprise the role refused but the whole game wasn’t just $44.
