Strictly Come Dancing 2022 will begin pre-tapping later this month, and there’s some great news for die-hard fans.
It has been announced that a live audience will return to the show from the first episode.
Not only that, the launch show will be pre-taped on September 7th, with the pros starting filming even earlier.
2022 Only: Start Date Confirmed
The new must-watch season celebrates 20 years of Strictly Come Dancing.
The BBC is now allowing fans to apply for tickets to be in the audience.
However, only one pair of tickets will be permitted per applicant.

The BBC’s website reads: “The stunning 20th series returns, bringing glamor and stunning dancing back to Saturday nights on BBC One – and we’re delighted to welcome audiences back to the studio for this year’s shows.
“Registration is now open to join us in the studio for an exciting pre-recording of the professional dancers on Wednesday 24th August and for this year’s Launch Show which will be taped ahead of the live shows on Wednesday 7th September. get.”
What’s changing at Strictly this year?
Due to coronavirus restrictions, judge Bruno Tonioli was replaced by professional dancer Anton du Beke during filming in the US last year.
There were also rumors that Bruno had left the show to film Dancing With The Stars in America.
Recently, Bruno confirmed the rumors as he can’t commute for both shows. Therefore, in 2022 Anton will once again replace Bruno as judge.
Beloved hostesses Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to their presenting roles.

There will be a new group of professionals as both Oti Mabuse and Aljaž Škorjanec left the show.

New award-winning dancers Vito Cappola, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Michelle Tsiakkas will strut their way into the “biggest pro lineup in Strictly history.”
Which celebs will attend?
There are no confirmed candidates yet.
However, there are many rumors surrounding which stars will appear in the new season of Strictly.
The famous faces rumored to be attending the show are Gino D’Acampo, Kym Marsh, Mike Tindall, Tom Daley, Steph McGovern and Paige Sandhu.
Unfortunately, we may have to keep guessing until the official line-up is released.
