BGT 2023: Miki Dark exposed as Simon Cowell is set on fire

Contestant Miki Dark covered Simon’s head with a black cloth on stage, then poured lighter fluid over it and then placed his head in a box, which he set on fire.

ITV presenters Ant and Dec watched in shock from the side of the stage as a paramedic stood by in case of an emergency.

The other judges on the jury, including Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli, all gasped as the box burst into flames.

Amanda quickly got up and cried out “Oh my god” in horror.

Although Simon While Miki was unharmed and unaware of what happened, fans of the show said they “figured out” exactly how Miki showcased his talent.

BGT viewers “find out” how illusionist Miki Dark performed his magic trick

Many fans posted on Twitter and offered some theories about Miki Dark’s performance.

One person wasn’t impressed, saying: “#BGT #BGT2023 Miki Dark: Bullshit. Probably something that produces bright light/flames but not much heat.”

Another wrote: “That was easy to sort out. His head was in a separate compartment, like a box within a box. The gasoline was probably water! The rag over his head was fireproof, as was the separate compartment that housed his head. These Indian dancers were real talent.”

This viewer pondered a similar theory, saying, “It’s pretty obvious that his head slipped into a part of the box that’s separate from the burning part.”

This account says “100% fixed. Check it out again. Simon moves his head forward as the box continues. Plus, Simon knows him from America’s talented team @BGT #bgt #BritainsGotTalent.”

One Twitter user said he knew how it was done, writing: “It’s obvious how it was done, the cloth and box served as protection.” The flames burned exclusively on the top. You could see they were on a flat surface when it was lit. The front view must have been some kind of trick with mirrors. Why were they afraid if his body was going to burn up?”

Could BGT judge Bruno Tonioli be sacked after hitting golden buzzer twice?

Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli made a mistake on Sunday night’s episode as he pressed the golden buzzer for the second time in the series.

The newcomer to the jury couldn’t resist as soulful singer Gamal John stunned the judges and audience, who gave him a standing ovation.

Then the crowd could be heard chanting for someone to press the golden buzzer.

Gamal performed a rendition of James Brown’s It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World after his young son encouraged him to audition.

When Bruno pressed the golden buzzer, Simon covered his face in disbelief.

Amanda Holden declared to Bruno, “You only get one!” when he realized he had made a mistake.

Ant and Dec wrapped themselves in a red curtain to hide at the edge of the stage at this awkward moment.

Simon said to Gamal, “We’re about to be fired.”

He confirmed Gamal would be coming to the live finals, adding: “Nevertheless, Bruno is a new judge and when you give something you can’t take it away. You know what we’re seriously thinking, I think we’re all thinking the same thing.”

As Gamal’s son ran onto the stage, the pair were showered with party cannons in golden confetti by Ant and Dec as the main confetti drop was empty as no official golden buzzer opportunities were expected.
