Bobby Lashley wants to keep in talks with Vince McMahon

Current WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley has revealed he’s still hoping for a dialogue with Vince McMahon.

McMahon recently shocked the wrestling world after announcing his retirement from the business. After cultivating many bad relationships over the years, McMahon still has the loyalty of Bobby Lashley, who praised the former chairman in a recent interview with Wrestling Inc.

“I have a lot of respect for Vince. I told him when I heard the news it’s amazing how many people he’s taken care of. He got my kids through school, he put a roof over my head, and he did so many other people. There are thousands of people who can say that. He’s a pioneer in the business, he’s built an empire. The reason I’m standing here today is because of him, so of course I have every respect for him Vince and I hope things work out anyway. Another Former WWE Champion Speaks Out About Vince McMahon’s Resignation

Vince’s retirement has many thinking that the 76-year-old may have decided to leave WWE following the Wall Street Journal’s recent allegations against him.

When asked about the situation, former WWE star Bryan Danielson (aka Daniel Bryan) declined to comment on the story at last weekend’s Starrcast Media scrum.

“Well, one thing, the first thing I should say is no comment. The second thing I should say about things and just Vince in general is maybe it’s more about love. When you love someone is that people make mistakes and you still love them.” H/T wrestling inc
