Britain’s Got Talent announces the 8th Golden Buzzer next week

Dance group Unity were honored with a rare seventh Golden Buzzer on Saturday’s (May 20) episode of BGT.

Simon Cowell was the judge who awarded the golden buzzer, although he said there weren’t any more.

After the show, he said, “I probably am now.” dismissed from Britain’s Got Talent for breaking the rules.

“Sometimes you just had to do it and it wasn’t me. Honestly, it was the audience. You could feel that energy. And that was the time to break the rules.”

But on Twitter, BGT teased that there may be an eighth Golden Buzzer on next weekend’s episode.

In one clip it shows all four BGT The judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon – hit the golden buzzer while presenters Ant and Dec look on in shock.

The caption of the tweet reads, “Ready for one final GOLDEN Audition episode of #BGT?”

When is Britain’s Got Talent held next week?

The show returned to its usual Saturday night slot on ITV this week after being moved to Sunday the week before to avoid a collision with Eurovision on rival channel BBC.

The next episode of Britain’s Got Talent airs next Saturday May 27 at 8pm on ITV.

It will be the final round of casting before the show moves on to the next round.
