Bruce Boudeau offers some advice to WWE Stars Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
Bruce Boudreau may have found his next coaching job – in the square circle.
In a WWE digital exclusive following Monday Night Raw, the former Canucks bench boss was seen offering some advice to some of the wrestling Canucks — undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
While the longtime NHL player and coach congratulated the duo on their victory with Matt Riddle over a trio called Imperium, he slammed Owens for staying out of the ring too long and Zayn for not being “more active” in the ring was, and also implored him to reach for tags more.
Boudreau also told the duo that he will have his fingers crossed for them during their big match this Saturday as they defend their titles against The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa during the WWE Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia.
It will be the first time that Zayn, a Syrian Muslim, is competing in Saudi Arabia after withdrawing from previous events in the Arab country. Zayn also launched #SamiForSyria, a charity-funded mobile clinic, in 2017 to help civilians displaced by the war.
Boudreau was also spotted ringside in Hershey, Pennsylvania and is said to be an avid wrestling fan. After being released by the Canucks in January, he is reportedly in the running for a return to the Washington Capitals, who he coached from 2007-2012.
