Bull Moose Terrorizes Youth Soccer Game In Wyoming

Now that’s hilarious.

No harm, no foul, right?

Moose are pretty cool animals… when you see them from a safe distance in the woods where they belong.

The truth is that they are actually one of, if not the most dangerous animal for people roaming North America. Their poor eyesight often makes them confused about what they are seeing, and their large size allows them to prank anything they want to cross or anything they want THINK want to cross it.

They are massive, often pushing well over 1,000 pounds and sometimes even up to 1,500 pounds. They also have massive paddle antlers that they use to literally fight and tear trees in two.

Seeing one on a street or in the city can always lead to massive problems. If you hit one with a vehicle, 9 times out of 10 the vehicle will be dead and the driver could also be injured as they are usually at windshield height. If you see one wandering the streets, which happens from time to time, they’re probably agitated, confused, and likely to become aggressive.

The good news in this case, it’s a Taurus. Although larger than cows, cows tend to be more aggressive, especially with their offspring.

But this is a scene that plays out more like a comedy than a nature special.

A bull moose tries his hand at a soccer field in Wyoming. Chaos ensues.

Children are running, screaming and crying all over the place while parents hold them to keep them safe.

The Jackson Hole News & Guide says everyone got along fine. Barbra Allen, a parent of children who play the game, told them about the incident:

“I think your first reaction is what most people in Jackson think when they see a beautiful bull moose, ‘Wow, that’s a beautiful bull moose with a big paddle.'”

The Jackson people are my kind of people.

After the initial shock, a man tried to push the moose off the field on his e-bike and it seems to be doing a good job, only apparently there are more people along those lines.

But what a football game…welcome to Wyoming.
