Burglary and arson at the Richmond Hill comedy club are no joke for police

They are looking for suspects or witnesses after a break-in and arson at a comedy club in Richmond Hill.

At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, police were called to a comedy club on York Boulevard. near East Beaver Creek Rd. for a complaint of breaking and entering and attempted arson.
When police arrived at the club, they found the front doors had been broken open.
An accelerant had been poured over tables and a fire started.
Police believe the suspect(s) broke into the club around 2 a.m. but were scared away by a van shortly afterwards.
A suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, possibly with a Calvin Klein logo, as well as a black face mask, dark pants and light-colored shoes.
