Burglary Suspect in Louisiana Falls Through Roof of Business

This is something you would see in a movie.

A Louisiana burglar reportedly fell through the roof of a store in north Louisiana after he and another man allegedly attempted to rob the store.

The attempted robbery occurred on September 12 at TP Outdoors in West Monroe.

KTVE reports that when police arrived at the scene, they checked the store’s CCTV and discovered that two white men had climbed onto the roof.

Shortly thereafter, one of the suspects fell through the roof, leaving a hole in it.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrived, but one suspect was arrested this week and charged with simple burglary and simple vandalism.

His rooftop defense is that he practiced “parkour,” an athletic training discipline in which practitioners attempt to get from point A to point B in the most fluid manner possible, often by scaling walls or jumping from roof to roof.

The authorities are still looking for their second suspect in this case.
