Canadiens, Senators to square off at Kraft Hockeyville in Atlantic Canada

Kraft Hockeyville will host two NHL preseason games between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators for the rescheduled 2020 and 2021 festivals in Atlantic Canada.

Games will be played at the Steele Community Center in Gander, NL on October 6th and the JK Irving Center in Bouctouche on October 8th, NB air times and other details to be determined.

“Force Hockeyville exists to connect our communities through hockey and help make the game more inclusive and accessible to all,” said Adam Butler, president of Kraft Heinz Canada, in an official release. “The preseason games we’ve announced in partnership with the NHL are such an exciting opportunity to do just that, and we look forward to seeing the passion they ignite in Twillingate and Elsipogtog First Nation.”

The 2020 and 2021 Kraft Hockeyville Festivals have been postponed due to COVID-19. The host communities are Twillingate, NL and Elsipogtog First Nation, NB

Along with the two NHL preseason games, each won $250,000 in community arena upgrades and $10,000 in youth hockey gear from the NHLPA’s Goals & Dreams fund.
