The capital’s biggest motorcycling event, the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show takes place this weekend (14-16 February) and celebrates all things two-wheeled.
Alongside the latest street machines from 18 of the world’s leading manufacturers, visitors to the ExCel exhibition center can see explosive live-action racing, rare classic machines, cycling stars and an exclusive celebration of Barry Sheene, the Brit who did more than most, to increase the attractiveness of motorcycle racing.
The list of manufacturers includes AJS, BMW, CCM, CF Moto, Ducati, ECOOTER, Honda, Husqvarna, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Mutt Motorcycles, MV Agusta, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha and Zero. All will be displaying their 2020 machines, making the event the largest collection of new bikes in London.
Nine of Barry Sheene’s famous racers (including his two title-winning Suzuki RG500s) will be flown in from Australia for the show. Sheene’s teammate Steve Parrish and Suzuki’s chief engineer during Sheene’s mid-’70s heyday will appear on stage to share insights and anecdotes.
