Carl Woods details ‘damage no one sees’

Carl Woods, Katie Price’s fiance, has detailed the “behind-the-scenes damage” following hoaxes and “abuse” of himself and the model.

Carl insisted they are still very engaged despite rumors to the contrary, and spoke to GB News about his mental health with Mark Dolan.

Opening the lid of the preserved trolling, he admitted, “You can only sit in silence for so long.”

Carl spoke about his relationship with Katie, the media and trolls during the interview.

He admitted she’s “really good” at “ignoring” things that are said about her.

However, it’s not one of Carl’s strengths, he admitted.

“Kate is really good at ignoring it. But I have phases where I want to read everything and think, ‘That’s not right, that’s not right.’

“I’m very old-fashioned. So when those things are said, I gave it back to the trolls, I defended myself.”

Carl continued, “If you love your family, you don’t like it when people say wrong things about them.”

“It makes you angry”

Then he opened up about the “damage” it’s doing “behind the scenes.”

“What nobody sees is the damage it’s doing behind the scenes,” he said.

Carl was then asked about Katie’s social media hiatus and the exact reasons behind it.

However, he said: “I won’t talk about this as Kate will talk about it if she wants to talk about it so I respect her privacy.

“But it makes me angry when I see these things being written about me.

“I can tolerate a lot of general nonsense being written, but when you do character assassination and get personal, it becomes a problem.

Two years ago I didn’t know what mental health was. But the constant backlash and abuse, yes, it gets on your nerves.

“It just doesn’t stop, it blows you away and eventually you get to the point where you start to doubt yourself.

“You have to stay straight and level-headed,” he said.
