Carlson Responds to Zelenskyy Demanding More Money from US, Other Countries: ‘Up Yours, Buddy!’

Under former President Donald Trump, American priorities and issues have always been high on the White House priority list. In stark contrast, under President Joe Biden, American priorities seem to have taken a back seat, particularly with regard to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, an outspoken critic of Biden’s foreign policy decisions, last week torched Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, making it clear that the United States has its own problems to deal with while demanding that Biden Zelenskyy shut off America’s seemingly endless spigot of cash .

In Thursday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson first referenced a recent news conference by Ukraine’s president, where he presented the US Congress with an itemized list of how much money he needs and why. Carlson was not impressed with the Ukrainian leader, to say the least.

“Some haughty foreigner in a T-shirt demanding money for his ‘critical economic needs.’ We also have critical economic needs, mate. who are you troll Go away,” Carlson said. “We don’t owe this guy anything.”

Carlson dragged Zelenskyy for continuing to beg for US aid, noting that Zelenskyy treats the Biden administration and US Congress as if it were his private piggy bank.

“While our economy is deteriorating and our borders are gone, this guy lectures us with a Christmas list like ‘I want this, I want that, and I want a bike too! You’d best send it off – quickly!’ Really? Up yours, mate!” Karlson said.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine in late February, the United States has easily trumped every other foreign nation in terms of overall aid to Ukraine. These include military aid, financial aid and humanitarian aid.

An auxiliary tracker for Ukraine maintained by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. An independent think tank based in Germany shows that the United States has provided nearly $17 billion in financial aid, $10.6 billion in humanitarian assistance, and a staggering $30.8 billion in military aid, far exceeding the contributions of any other country.

Carlson’s point is that America’s economy is fragile on almost all fronts under Biden, and that pouring tens of billions of dollars — and likely more in the future — into helping Ukraine ward off the Russians isn’t the best idea.

It seems to some that Ukraine is taking advantage of the situation in a way it probably wouldn’t if a stronger leader like Trump happened to be in office.

Meanwhile, US inflation is still above 8 percent, the southern US border continues to be overrun, the deadly drug fentanyl is killing hundreds of thousands of Americans as the Biden administration laughs, and most US cities have become so dangerous and criminal that people are literally afraid to leave their homes.

But the Biden administration has little interest in such crushing domestic problems and much interest in sending billions to a war abroad. Just perfect.

Do you think the United States should send money to Ukraine?

It doesn’t look like the Biden administration intends to change misplaced priorities anytime soon, so the best way to make that happen is to back out and vote on November 8th.

If Republicans can claim majority control of at least one — and hopefully both — houses of Congress, we may have a chance of keeping Biden as lame as possible until we can elect a Republican president who puts Americans first in 2024 are .
