Castle Howard, near Malton, is due for a makeover for Christmas

Ticket sales for the event at Castle Howard, near Malton, begin later this week.

The celebrations will see Castle Howard transformed into Neverland from November 11th to January 2nd, 2024.

Last year’s event drew a record-breaking attendance, which the mansion described as a “milestone” in its post-pandemic recovery.

During the event, visitors can book a visit to see Santa Claus, participate in wreath-making and take guided tours of the house.

Christmas at Castle Howard has previously appeared in documentaries on Channel 4.

The four-part documentary Castle Howard Through the Seasons was released in November 2022 and the one-off series Christmas at Castle Howard was released in November 2021.

Abbi Ollive, Director of Marketing and Visitors, said: “Christmas at Castle Howard is a special occasion for so many of our visitors and we are delighted to have tickets for sale for 2023.”

“We are delighted to transform the great halls of Castle Howard into a festive treat filled with creative storytelling, designed to delight and inspire our visitors.”

All tickets will be available for general sale on Thursday 10th August from 12pm via Castle Howard’s website.
