Charles Kimbrough, “Murphy Brown” star, has died at the age of 86

Charles Kimbroughbest known for his work as presenter Jim Dial on Murphy Brownsadly passed away at the age of 86.

He died on January 11 in Culver City, California, his son confirmed New York timeS.

A star on both stage and screen, he received a Tony nomination for his work in the original Broadway cast of Pursue back in 1971 as well as an Emmy nomination for his work Murphy Brown, the long-running CBS sitcom. You might also recognize his voice from the animated film The Hunchback of Notre Damewhere he pronounced the gargoyle Victor. Murphy Brown was rebooted in 2018 and he also appeared in some of those episodes.
