Cheltenham Festival 2023 live stream: How to watch FREE on TV in the UK today
One of the biggest gatherings on the horse racing calendar is back with the Cheltenham Festival taking place throughout the week.
With 28 races over four days, it’s an action-packed schedule at Prestbury Park with Friday’s Gold Cup as the highlight.
You can watch the ‘Greatest Show on Turf’ all week long on TV and online as more than 250,000 people descend on the famous Gloucestershire racehorse.

How to watch the 2023 Cheltenham Festival
TV channel: The only place to see the festival in its entirety is on racing television, which will broadcast all seven races on each day of the meet. Racing TV is a subscription channel available through Sky and Virgin Media and online through the website and app. Build-up reporting begins daily at 12:30 p.m. and ends after the last race.
ITV1 will normally broadcast the first five races, with daily coverage starting at 1pm, but Wednesday coverage begins on ITV4 before continuing on ITV1 from 2pm. The preview show “The Opening Show” will be broadcast from 8:30 am to 10:00 am throughout the meeting.
Live broadcast: Racing TV subscribers can stream the action live or on their TV via the website or app, while ITV viewers can do the same via the ITVX website and app.
