One of the biggest meetings on the horse racing calendar is upon us as the Cheltenham Festival begins today

With 28 races over four days, it’s an action-packed schedule at Prestbury Park with Friday’s Gold Cup as the highlight.

You can watch the ‘Greatest Show on Turf’ all week long on TV and online as more than 200,000 people descend on the famous Gloucestershire racehorse.

How to watch the 2023 Cheltenham Festival

TV channel: The only place to see the festival in its entirety is on racing television, which will broadcast all seven races on each day of the meet. Racing TV is a subscription channel available through Sky and Virgin Media and online through the website and app. Build-up reporting begins daily at 12:30 p.m. and ends after the last race.

ITV1 will broadcast the first five races, with coverage beginning at 1pm Tuesday through Friday. The preview show “The Opening Show” will be broadcast from 8:30 am to 10:00 am throughout the meeting.

Live broadcast: Racing TV subscribers can stream the action live or on their TV via the website or app, while ITV viewers can do the same via the ITVX website and app.
