Christina Ricci voices “Not Great” on the “Rolling Stone” cover and is the “anti-it girl” as a young star.

Christina Ricc looked back at some of her earliest days in the spotlight in a new interview.
The 43 year old Wednesday The actress opened up about being portrayed as the quintessential “anti-it girl” during an interview Rolling Stone.
In it, she addressed a 1999 photoshoot for the magazine, which she called “not great.” She also hinted at how things have changed for her since then.

For the 1999 cover Rolling Stone, Christina (19 at the time) wore pink lingerie. The accompanying slogan described her as “Nice & Naughty Christina Ricci”.
Looking back, she described it as not one of her greatest moments.
“It’s not how I would have chosen to be dressed, but it’s very much of his time.” Christina said, adding, “I was a bit of a d-ckhead.”
“I could have dealt with that in a less youthful way,” she continued.
While the actress explained that she had moved on from that period in her life, she revealed how she sometimes found herself in similar situations during interviews.
“With movies, there’s a build up and the movie comes out and then it’s done,” she said. “For TV [the press cycle] never ends. I find myself feeling a little more carefree about the things I’m saying. And that’s not good for me. I always go too far I never realize how awful something I say is until someone else says, ‘What the hell?'”
