“You wanted 57 in 35, sir”

A traffic stop in Willoughby, Ohio, became physical after a motorist repeatedly denied a female officer’s pleas.

After getting out of his vehicle to get his ID from the back seat, the officer directed the 64-year-old man to sit on the curb.

The man refused the officer’s orders and the situation continued to escalate.

The officer and the driver began wrestling with each other. Eventually, the officer was pinned against the driver’s vehicle as he appeared to gain control.

But soon a civilian ran to the two and helped bring the man to the ground.

As the three wrestled on the ground, more citizens jumped in to help. Eventually, support for the Ohio officer arrived and the man was handcuffed.

The man was subsequently arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
