Coronation Street: ITV launches new soap experience for fans
The broadcaster has announced that the world’s longest-running soap opera will open its doors to launch the Coronation Street Experience.
It builds on the success of the recently opened Visitor Center, which has hosted the program’s guided tours for the past few months.
The exhibition has now been fully expanded into a one stop shop for any Corrie fan, offering fantastic access to replica sets, period props, iconic costumes and of course the Corrie Shop.

What is the Coronation Street Experience about?
In addition to being able to see props and costumes from the soap, which will be updated regularly after Corrie’s storylines conclude, it will also be open to visitors seven days a week.
Neil Currie, Guest Experience Manager, said: “We know Coronation Street fans want to see some of the props and sets they see on screen up close, be it Deirdre’s infamous glasses or the interior of The Rovers Return. ”
“Not only does the new exhibition give us the opportunity to extend the tour experience over the weekend, as it is included in the price for every visitor.

“It will also be open seven days a week, giving everyone the chance to take a seat in ‘Roy’s Rolls’ or stand behind the bar at ‘The Rovers’ and see iconic costumes and props spanning over 60 years of drama.”
The new exhibition floor will complement the tour next to a movie theaterCafe and retail space.
In addition to the replica sets and original props, the tour itself has evolved to include access to new sets such as the Weatherfield Precinct.
When does the Coronation Street Experience start?
Tickets for the new ITV Soap exhibition are on sale now on-line.
Fans won’t have to wait long to start planning their trip because the new Coronation Street Experience begins Saturday, June 10th.
The award-winning 90-minute tour at Media City in Manchester has attracted fans from around the world since its launch in 2014.
