Coronation Street murderer Stu makes dig at Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has lashed out on Coronation Street – after character Stud attacked the presenter.
Last night (August 5), millions tuned in to Corrie to see Stu Carpenter exposed as the murderer.
But in the process, he shot Piers when he insulted a journalist who wrote a story about him in the Weatherfield Gazette.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter is now hosting a little-noticed show on Talk TV.

What did Coronation Street villain Stu say?
Stu and Yasmeen Nazir discussed the article, in which journalist Suki said the couple were “very much in love.”

Stu snapped, “Can I be honest? Suki makes Piers Morgan look like a Pulitzer Prize winner.”
Responding to the comment on Twitter, Piers, 57, said, “I’ll take care of that later.”
However, fans were amused by the joke – many pointed out that Piers took the hit with the Corrie mention.
One said: “You finally hit the big piers, not to mention Donald Trump. You were checked by name on Coronation Street, it doesn’t get any better than that.”
A second said: “I bet their boots are shaking,” with a laughing emoji.
A third said: “You know it’s an honor to be recognized in Corrie, whatever the context!”
I’ll take care of that later.

Coronation Street: Stu confesses to murder
However, Piers may want to back down when Corrie revealed last night that Stu is a murderer.
In shocking scenes, his secret was exposed when his ex-wife showed up to stop him from reconnecting with daughter Bridget.
She revealed that he killed a woman named Charlie Walter to cover up their affair.
Yasmeen was completely shocked – and so were the fans.
However, actor Bill Fellows has teased that all is not as it seems.

And he says Stu is determined to prove his innocence once and for all.
“The first big thing is trying to get the people he loves and cares about to believe him: Yasmeen, Alya and Zeedan,” Fellows said.

“Without giving the game away, there are plenty of twists and turns in this storyline, it’s not just that Stu has to prove his innocence.
“There are many elements in this story that come into play. That bomb has now exploded.”
Maybe Piers could interview him?
