Costa Coffee is recalling sandwiches and wraps over fears they contain “small stones”.

Osta Coffee is recalling a range of sandwiches and wraps from its stores over fears they may contain stones.
The coffee shop chain warned customers about four of its lunchtime products in a Food Standards Agency announcement.
The agency said the items were pulled from stores “because they could contain small stones”.
It added: “This may pose a choking hazard and is not suitable for consumption.”
The company said it was taking the issue “extremely seriously” and apologized to customers.
The recalled Costa products are the Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wrap, Southern Fried Chicken Wrap, Chicken Salad Sandwich and BLT Sandwich.
In particular, these products with a best-before date between Wednesday, September 6th and Friday, September 8th have been recalled.
“We advise customers not to consume these products,” the Food Standards Agency added.
“Any customer who owns these products can return them to the nearest store for a full refund.”
A spokeswoman for Costa Coffee said: “Costa Coffee is recalling four savory products.
“We have been informed by our supplier that there may be small stones which could pose a choking hazard if consumed.
“Customers who have purchased any of the listed products should not eat them and instead return to a store with or without a receipt for a full refund.”
“We take this matter extremely seriously and sincerely apologize for any concerns this recall may have caused.”
