Couple Gets Engaged At George Strait’s Arrowhead Stadium Concert Last Weekend During “Check Yes Or No”

I’m usually very opposed to suggestions for sporting events or concerts, but I could probably make an exception for The King.

Last weekend Nick Sutter proposed to his girlfriend Jacquelyn Bladdick George Straits Performance of “Check Yes Or No” with him Arrowhead Stadium Show.

Of course, Jacquelyn ticked “yes” and says the moment was made even more special when George was separated from their engagement:

“It’s just so special that we got to share this moment with one of country music’s greatest legends.”

Few people knew of Nick’s plan before the show, and he actually gave his phone to a stranger sitting in the chair behind their row while Jacquelyn was in the bathroom so they could record the moment he gave them the signal.

As soon as he proposed, Jacquelyn was ecstatic and responded perfectly, saying:

“I’ve carried your love inside me for more than four years and now I just want to dance with you.”

Luckily, everything went smoothly, and now they’re officially paused.

Nick added that it was a night to remember for everyone around them too and he couldn’t think of a better place to propose:

“I’m really glad we made it there.

I think it was really unforgettable, and that with the King of Country! Everything worked out, everything felt right. So it was really cool.”

And while the engagement was quite a production, they plan to keep the wedding fairly small…though George is invited, of course.

Here’s a bit more about the story:

And I’m not sure if The King plays weddings these days, but I think they already have a great option for a first dance song:
