Crest Nicholson is building 60 houses in Wilberfoss
The Yorkshire division of housebuilder Crest Nicholson continues its growth in the north by securing contracts for three sites in Wilberfoss near York; East Ayton, North Yorkshire; and Swanland in East Yorkshire.
Around 60 houses with two to five bedrooms will be built on the six-hectare site in Wilberfoss, including 25% affordable housing. The developers say the site on Mill Lane will provide an ideal location for commuters to the city centre.
The East Ayton site, on Racecourse Road, is just under five hectares in size and will contain 56 homes, 30% of which will be affordable housing. Here, too, the beginning of the New Year is coming up.
The Swanland site is just over 20 hectares in size and will contain 150 houses and bungalows ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms, including 25% affordable housing. Work on this will begin in the coming months.
Guy Evans, managing director of Crest Nicholson Yorkshire, said: “The sites in Swanland, Wilberfoss and East Ayton are sought-after destinations for homebuyers in the region, with good commuter links and will allow us to offer a greater choice of quality and more energy.” efficient, newly built homes with many amenities nearby. We look forward to starting construction later this year.”
