Criticism of Beyoncé hoodie prices ahead of Sunderland performance
Queen Bey will be performing for just one night at the City Lights Stadium on Tuesday (May 23) and fans are sure to be thrilled at the prospect of seeing her live on stage.
But those looking to take home a memento of the event will find that the prices of some items are heartbreaking.

At the star’s first appearance in Cardiff in the UK last week, some said ‘Beyoncé-no’ at the price of a zip-up hoodie at the official merchandise stand, which sold for a whopping £120.
Other deals included standard hoodies for £100, sweatpants for £90 and t-shirts for £45.
Some took to social media and accused Beyoncé of ripping off fans.
One tweeted: “£120 for a hoodie – you absolutely can’t! What do these artists actually think they are doing?! Okay, it’s people’s choice to spend this, but no, this is just wrong on so many levels! Cheat fans and turn a blind eye to artists.”

Another called the prices “absolutely ridiculous”.
The British leg of the Renaissance tour got off to a great start in the principality of Cardiff last week before heading to Edinburgh at the weekend.
She will only perform for one night in Sunderland before leading the concert for five dates at Tottenham’s White Hart Lane.
