Daniil Medvedev continues his hot streak by securing a place in the finals at Indian Wells

Daniil Medvedev continued his winning streak by defeating Frances Tiafoe and reaching his first BNP Paribas Open final in Indian Wells.
The former world number one arrived in the Californian desert after winning back-to-back tournaments in Rotterdam, Doha and Dubai and has maintained that form impressively.
American Tiafoe saved seven match points in a spirited end of the first semifinal but eventually lost 7-5, 7-6 (4) as Medvedev went on to a 19-straight win.
The Russian, who injured his ankle and thumb in falls in his last two games, broke serve in game 11 of the opening set and looked on course for victory with another break to start the second.
Tiafoe held on as he saved three match points at the score of 3-5. That seemed to delay the inevitable, but Medvedev drew and twice missed to finish serve, including at 40-0 at 6-5.
The crowd roared at the American star and he fought his way back from 1-5 in the tiebreak to 4-5 before Medvedev finally made it over the line.
