Declan Rice’s response to ‘speculation’ about West Ham future amid Arsenal interest

West Ham took the lead against Fiorentina in Prague from a Said Benrahma penalty and although they were pushed back by an equalizer from Giacomo Bonaventura, Jarrod Bowen scored in the 90th minute to end the club’s 43-year wait for a major trophy .
Rice became the first West Ham captain since Bobby Moore to lift a major European title in what will likely be his last appearance for the club ahead of a big summer move.
Both Arsenal and Bayern Munich have strong ties with the midfielder, whose current contract at the London stadium has two years left after he turned down several contract offers from the club.
After lifting the trophy in Prague, Rice stressed on the pitch that no decision had been made about his future and spoke glowingly about West Ham.
“There is a lot of speculation about my future,” he told BT Sport.
“Of course there is interest from other clubs, that’s out there but ultimately I’ve got two years left at West Ham.
“I love this club, I love playing for this club. Nothing has happened yet. My focus is on playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight and seeing what happens. I’m the captain of this club and I love him more than anything.
“I can’t praise this place enough, let’s see what happens.”
